UPDATE: Click here to check out the Animated Huntik TCG Demo!

The Huntik Trading Card Game is now available in stores across the country. If you want to give the game a try, you can adventure with Seekers and Titans and play right now!

Using your home computer and a little Seeker ingenuity, you can print out and assemble two Huntik trial decks, one Good and one Evil, and a Huntik Mission Map. Then download the rulebook or read the Huntik Guide series of news articles on this website, and you can play Huntik with a friend today!

First, start with the Mission Map. It will print out on eight pieces of paper that you can tape together to create the map. You want it to look like this. You can put the tape on the underside so it doesn’t get in the way when you play.

Next, print the decks. There are two 15-card trial decks. The 15 blue cards make a Good deck and the 15 red cards make an Evil deck. There are also two Mission cards and one feature card that is used for both missions, the Ring of Arc.

To understand the basic rules of Huntik, you can read the Huntik Guide series on this website. If you want a more in-depth view of the game, download and save the rulebook to your computer. You can print out the rulebook for your friends or just keep it on your computer to save paper.

Getting Started with your Missions

The first Mission, Deliver the Ring of Arc, is a very basic Mission to start with. Playing this Mission will get you used to playing and moving your heroes, taking actions, and going through the flow of a turn. Each player should get a chance to accomplish this Mission as the lead player.

Once you’ve done that, you can play the more competitive Mission, Retrieve the Ring of Arc. This Mission will be a challenge for the lead player to complete. You can continue to play this Mission, switching roles with your friend so everyone gets to be the lead and defending players, and when you’re done, you’ll have a good feel for the best strategies to use in this Mission.

If you want to try another Mission, check out Huntik Guide 3 next week! We'll be posting a new one for you to try out.
