Omens and Legacies Preview 5: Wrath of the Titans

The Legendary Titans, first introduced in Legendary Saga, added a whole new dimension to the game of Huntik. The ability to be used in both Good and Evil decks makes Legendary Titans unique, and opens up lots of opportunities for creative deckbuilding. Omens and Legacies ups the ante with new versions of all three Legendary Titans, and new cards to support decks using these awesome heroes!

Behemoth, Power of Body is the new version of Behemoth in Omens and Legacies. Compared to Behemoth, Legendary Titan of Body, the new Behemoth has 1 less ATK, but gains 2 points of DEF and some abilities that make much tougher to take out. Behemoth’s immunity to effects that target him protects him from cards like Acidheart, and his ability to KO minor heroes at will means your opponent can’t pile up minors to defeat him. It all adds up to a Titan that’s worth his (considerable) weight in gold on both offense and defense, and is sure to return your investment in playing him-even if your opponent draws a card from the Amulet of Behemoth.

Speaking of which, who like letting their opponent draw a card? Not Dante Vale, Foundation’s Best. In his latest incarnation, Dante loses the Bold Explorer tag, but keeps the ability to play Behemoth without letting your opponent draw.

With 5 ATK and DEF, this is the biggest Dante yet, and his Megakick ability makes life really hard for your opponent’s minor heroes. Between Dante and Behemoth, you can make your opponent’s minor heroes all but useless, putting a lot of pressure on their major heroes.

Although he’s sturdy, Behemoth isn’t quite invulnerable. While eventually you’ll end up trading him for one of your opponent’s major heroes, he’s at his best when he gets to bash some minors before that. To make sure you’re the one picking the fights, enlist the help of Metz, Dante’s Mentor.

This Foundation Councliman hangs back until needed, then trades places with your Behemoth. Having Metz on your team lets you be more aggressive with Behemoth, sending him forward into combat knowing that you’re safe from counterattack.

In order to get Behemoth and his buddies on the map at the same time, look no further than Neverlost.

This extremely versatile Exhaust Action lets you search your deck for any Seeker that you don’t have in play already. Neverlost is perfect for setting up combos like Behemoth/Dante/Metz. It’s also useful in lots of other decks, too-lots of decks rely on Seeker heroes, and Neverlost gives you more chances to get those heroes when it matters.

With new versions of all three Legendary Titans and new support cards on both sides, Omens and Legacies is taking Legendary decks to the next level. Whether you favor Good or Evil, you can’t afford to miss these powerful new heroes!
